Student Edge is proud to announce a partnership with its first ever international school, Canning College.
This means Student Edge is now able to help make a difference by working with students from diverse backgrounds.
Next year, Canning College students will be onboarded to the Student Edge suite upon orientation, giving them access to tools such as the Passport, free learning courses and much more.
Canning College is dedicated to offering quality pathways to international students, which it has been doing since 1982.
This allows international students to access tertiary institutions in Australia and provides them with the best way to kickstart their university careers.
Tony Herbert, Deputy Principal of Canning College, said he was excited for the way the Student Edge Passport will allow international students to access tools to help them in their academic journey.
“We provide excellent support services to help them settle quickly but we’re always looking for ways to make it even easier for students to get the most out of their international experience. Student Edge is another resource to help them better understand student life in Perth and to enhance their experience.

“The Student Edge Passport is a great way for students to build information about themselves, their skills and experience, and generate a resume with the click of a button. While they focus on their studies during their time at Canning College, international students are also entitled to engage in casual work, and assistance with resume building is invaluable.”
Tony also said it will be a great tool in aiding students’ linguistics as they communicate with other students and members of the community from different backgrounds.
This partnership with Canning College has allowed the Student Edge team to make a difference to students from non-Australian backgrounds.
The Passport will help them to build connections as they work towards university entry.
