Our premium membership and learning platform is where young people can learn life skills to navigate today’s uncertain world with more confidence and smarts.
What is it?
We created Student Edge Plus because many young people graduate high school without life skills like money management, career path planning, balancing life and study and prioritising mental health.
With Student Edge Plus, students get access to on-demand courses and learning pathways that help them through these big challenges.
On-demand video courses.
Pathways are made up of bite-sized, on-demand, interactive video courses. So students can learn whenever, wherever.
Designed by experts.
Each course and pathway is designed by industry experts. It means no more fuss designing programs and finding the right guest speakers. It’s all there, ready to go.
Each course builds upon the next, like a stairway to students’ ultimate goals with real world outcomes, like becoming financially savvy, landing a job, or even creating the blue print for a new business.
6 pathways, 38+ courses.
Empowering students across financial literacy, job readiness, career pathways, mental health, entrepreneurship, and more.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Student Edge Plus?
Student Edge creates the best learning experiences to ensure our student members have easy access to pathways and courses that are relevant, meaningful and useful to their life and career.
Student Edge Plus pathways and courses are designed in line with what school system curricula and global competency frameworks highlight as the knowledge, skills and dispositions required for the future of work.
Why Student Edge Plus?
Research we’ve conducted, in-conjunction with our research arm, YouthInsight, highlighted that young people aren’t being taught valuable life skills, such as financial literacy, resilience and communication skills.
With 70% of young Australians now concerned about their financial wellbeing, and 49% of employers reporting a soft-skills gap amongst early career professionals, we recognised the need to do more for our members.
This is where Student Edge Plus comes in, to address this skills gap and solves challenges facing young people.
