Innovation and the principles of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) were put on display at Cecil Andrews College during one of the Future Schools events, hosted 24 November 2022.

Sponsored by HP and Microsoft, the event saw Cecil Andrews College, located in Seville Grove, WA, host educators from across the state and country.
Guests had the opportunity to tour the College’s state-of-the-art STEAM facilities, and hear from speakers including HP’s Education Ambassador, Brett Salakas, on the future of technology in education.

The day also saw representatives from Polly Farmer Foundation’s Follow the Dream, Clontarf Academy and Stars Foundation sharing how they’ve helped bring unique opportunities to students at Cecil Andrews, and their plans for the future.
Highlights of the day also included a demonstration of a technology-based lessons with Brett Salakas, a virtual tour of the school and a Q&A with the event’s guests.

The event was facilitated by Stella Jinman, Principal of Cecil Andrews College, who demonstrated her passion for innovation and entrepreneurship, and how she’s brought her school into the future of learning.
